Peace, resources and the environment

November 22, 2022 – Hybrid

Peace, resources and the environment

The panel discussion aims to analyze through an economic perspective the complex relationship between peace, resources and the environment. Resource availability and climate dynamics are pivotal elements both in the emergence of conflict and in fostering periods of geopolitical and economic prosperity. Understanding how these factors influence and support the continuation of peace or can destabilize it is critical in order to be able to devise an ethical and effective development model.

The event organized within the Festival of Peace, promoted by the Municipality of Brescia, and the 10th Year Anniversary of IAERE (Italian Association of Enviromental and Resource Economists) event series.
